Dutch Tower Rush

Want one of the boldest strategies in the book? Try this tower rush with the dutch. If used under the right circumstances it could be deadly, but certainly comes with a challenge. 

Discovery Age I

-You need to age with 12 villagers trained, therefore depending on your map, determine if you need to put 4 villagers on coin to train for more. (This depends on how many coin crates you get, Most cases you only need to get coin for 1 villager)

-Put the rest of villagers on food

-After you queue up your 12th villager, put all on food

First Card: 3 villagers

-You will age with 15 villagers (12 +3 from shipment)

AGE UP: The Governor - 1 outpost wagon and 200 coin 

Transition I-II

-Put 10 villagers on wood, and keep 5 on food

-Send 1 villager forward on a nice forward base position

Colonial Age II

-Build a barracks with your forward villager ASAP

-Send your outpost wagon to your forward base

Second Card: 700 wood

-Place 4 villagers from wood to coin

-Queue up 5 pikes at your barracks (You want to train 2 batches of 5)

-Build two houses and a market

-Once the 700 wood comes in, gather it and move wood villagers to coin

-Queue a villager when you have enough coin

Third Card: 8 pikes

-Start to train skirmishers

-Move your shipment point to your forward tower

-Once your pikes and skirmisher batch come in, press. Go for houses or military buildings depending on your opponent

-Continue to train skirmishers

Fourth Card: 3 Hussars

Continue to press with your infantry mass and try to take down houses and military buildings. The goal is to choke out your opponent while you mass pikes to siege

Fifth Card : 600 wood

-With this wood build a forward stable and train more pikes

-Determine what composition is best to take down your opponent. Train cavalry or skirmishers as needed while getting pikes to siege. You can buy wood at the market for them if you need.
