Russia has Dragoons, Hussars, and 2x 2 heavy cannon shipments!? Yes! Use these unique church units in one of the most fun strategies I’ve tried with Russia.

Discovery Age I

-Queue 3 villagers and build a house

-Age up with 20 villagers, spawn your last 2 sets of 3 on coin

First Shipment: Distributism

AGE UP: Quartermaster - 400 wood

Transition I-II

-Put 11 villagers on food and 9 on coin

Colonial Age II

-Depending on how your food/coin macro is looking, switch villagers as needed to get the fastest age up. 

-Gather wood with 1 villager

Second Card: 700 wood

AGE UP: The Exiled Prince - Ages up very fast

Transition II-III

Third Card: Reformest Tsar (advanced church)

-Build 2 houses, a church, and a market

-Put 10 villagers on food, 10 villagers wood

Fortress Age III

-Get the Kalmucks from the church (these are age IV dragoons, raid opponent with them if desired)

-Build a house

-Queue up 3 villagers

-Get hunting dogs and placer mines from the market

-Put 17 villagers on food, 4 on coin, and a couple on wood

Fourth Card: 2 falconets

-Make sure you send you Kalmucks back to protect your falconets that come in

-Continue making villagers and houses as needed

-Build a stable

-Get a priest to heal your dragoons if needed

-Build walls if needed

Fifth Card: 1000 coin

-Gather coin ASAP

AGE UP: The Engineer - 2 falconets

Transition III-IV

-Put 20 villagers on coin, a couple on wood, and the rest on food

-Aim to get 2000 coin ASAP to send in your Bashkir Ponies

-Get more market upgrades like amalgamation if possible

Industrial Age IV

Sixth Card: 2 Heavy Cannon

-Build more houses as needed

-Get Bashkir Ponies from your church ASAP

-Train Cavalry from your stable ASAP

-From here press and attack, defend your artillery mass with ranged cavalry and your Bashkir ponies. Raid vulnerable villagers and abuse your artillery. 

-Next Card: send 2 heavy cannons again or a factory

-Continue to grow your economy and get to work!
