Portugal Trade Post Boom

Tired of coming up against booms like Sweden and Japan? This strategy is their killer.

Discovery Age I

1. Gather crates and herd

2. Build a house

3. Put 2-3 villagers on wood to so you have 120 wood after building your house

4. First Card: Advanced Trade Post

5. Build your first TP as soon as the card is sent in. Build the far one or center one if possible, this will block your opponent if they try to build trade posts too.

6. Age up with 13 villagers

7. AGE UP: THE PHILOSOPHER PRINCE - 500 Food

Transition I-II

1. Put 6 villagers on wood, 2 on coin, and the rest on food

2. Build the other trade posts ASAP

Colonial Age II

1. Put your next TC in a defensive position securing more resources

2. Second Card: House of Braganca

3.  Gather your wood ASAP

4. Place villagers off of wood to food and coin. You will need 300 coin and the rest on food to age.

5. As soon as House of Braganca comes in, upgrade your trade post at the trade post closest to you.

6. Third Card: 700 Coin

7. Que villagers at your TCs

8. AGE UP: Depending on your opponent. If you will need military ASAP, then age up with THE MARKSMAN - 6 Cassadors, but if you want to be more greedy, age up with THE EXILED PRINCE - Ages Up Very Vast

Transition II-III

1. Get your next TP upgrade, the train

2. If you aged with The Marksman,send 700 wood as your next card, once your wood comes in build 3 houses, a barracks, and a stable.

Fortress Age III

1. If you aged with The Exiled Prince, send 1000 wood as your next card, once your wood comes in build 3 houses, a barracks, and a stable.

2. Put your next TC in a forward position to claim more resources

3. Queue up villagers at your TC’s

4. Queue up the military of your choice to crush your opponent!
