Want to switch it up and have fun with a very balanced and dynamic age 2 army composition? This strategy is for you.
Discovery Age I
Gather creates and herd. You need 12 villagers to age
Build a house and market
Try to get hunting dogs if possible with treasures and gathering coin if needed
First Card: American Allies
AGE UP: The Chief - 2 Builder Travois
Transition I-II
Build your Native Embassy forward or at your base depending on your opponent
Put 6 villagers on food and 6 villagers on wood
Colonial Age II
Second Card: 3 Tambo Travois
With your 2 travois, Build a War Hut by your embassy. Your second travois can be another warhut, or if you are on a TP heavy map and can get over 3 trade posts, get a native settlement.
Que a villager
Start training Zapotec or Carib from your embassy
Grab the 3 trade posts (make sure you get 1 on the native settlement on the map)
Continue to train Zapotec and Carib
Third Card: 5 plumed spearmen
Once you have a around 10 zapotec and 10 carib with your shipment, engage!
Continue to make your native army as needed, it is very balanced, but do not be afraid to make regular units.
